Robert Blatz

CFO

Bob has been the Chief Financial Officer of DriveLine since 2021, and the President and CFO of FlexPath Capital, Inc. Blatz began his career as a US Army officer serving in multiple theaters as an Infantry Officer and participating in Operation Provide Comfort in Northern Iraq. Following his service he served as Chief of Staff and then CFO of The Heritage Foundation, a Washington, DC based think tank.  After working as a financial system consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers he was selected to be the President of American Land Lease, a Manufactured Housing Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), in 1999.


While leading American Land Lease the company grew its portfolio fivefold and was sold in 2009 to private investors at a significant premium for investors. Blatz then worked as Senior Vice President Operations at Cubesmart, a self-storage company before joining Peter Sayer to build FlexPath Capital in 2012.  


Bob is an active member of his church and also serves on the reunion fundraising committee for his West Point Class.  He has also served as a committee member for the John P. Abizaid Award given to the outstanding ROTC leadership Cadet among Universities in the greater Tamp area.  He is also a member of the Tamp Bay Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and the West Point Society of Florida-West Coast.  He has also been a supporter of and worked on the fundraising committee of the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.


Bob holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The George Washington University School of Business and a BS in General Engineering with a concentration in Economics from The United States Military Academy, West Point. Bob is a Father, Husband, an Eagle Scout and a proud owner of 3 dogs, two of them rescues.
